The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on slight S-facing slope at the E end of an E-W orientated ridge in gently undulating pasture. Raised circular area (dims 14m N-S; 12m E-W) enclosed by an earthen scarp (H 1.15m). No trace of a fosse is visible at ground level. From NW-NE the scarped edge is incorporated into an SW-NE orientated drystone field wall. Low heaps of earth and stone spoil have been dumped on top of the scarped edge at W and NW. The original entrance is not recognisable.
