The National Monuments Service's description
Located in a raised terraced area in the W half of an ecclesiastical enclosure (SL011-011001-), known as ‘The Cashel’.
A lintelled creepway or souterrain-like feature extends from the area before Teach Molaise (SL001-001005-) towards the south-west angle of Templenatinny (SL001-001011-). This is not a souterrain proper (i.e. tunnelled below ground level), but is built within the raised terrace that forms the western subdivision of the Cashel. The feature was not surveyed in detail as inspection of the interior indicated that the roof lintels – large flat stone slabs – are in danger of collapse.
