The National Monuments Service's description
This site (L 0.7m; Wth 0.64m; D 0.12m) is orientated NNE-SSW and consists of a dense concentration of light brushwood (diam. 0.012-0.03m), three-four layers deep. A single peg, at an angle of 45°, was located at the centre of the construction. Identified species include oak, hazel, birch and yew. The wood is in good condition with bark surviving. Several toolmarks were recorded, including chisel points, one of which was finished as a cut and tear. The section of togher (RO055-019----) c. 15m to the N may be part of the same structure.
