The National Monuments Service's description
The site (Wth 0.8m; D 0.34m) is orientated E-W and consists a single roundwood and accompanying half-split supported by a large transverse roundwood (diam. 0.2m). The inner surface of the half-split is rotted out. One end of the substructural roundwood is damaged, the other end is deeply embedded in the drain face. An outlying associated ash roundwood (diam. 0.1m) with surviving bark was found 6m further along the drain. It is removed from the landscape (Rohan 2012).
