The National Monuments Service's description
Marked only on the 1924-5 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a circular feature (diam. c. 60m) named Sheeaun Hill, and situated on a level landscape close to the headwaters of a small E-W stream, with higher undulating ground to the S. Described locally as a low gravel hill which was quarried away in the 1960s. It is not visible at ground level in pasture.
