The National Monuments Service's description
Marked only on the 1924-5 ed. of the OS 6-inch map where it is described in italic lettering as a 'Cave', and situated on the crest of a slight NW-SE ridge. It is described as a passage with one or more chambers (OS Name Books). A slight depression (dims 8m x 2m; D 0.2m) is visible. Rath (RO054-002001-) is c. 140m to the SE.
