The National Monuments Service's description
In 1962 a single skeleton was discovered in a sandpit at a place which may have been at Garrynagawna. It was described as being at a depth of c. 0.6m and laid out in a 'formal manner'. There is no precise location, but it is reported to have been c. 100m from the old Athone to Ballinasloe road (N6). The remains were re-buried in Drum graveyard (RO051-065002-).
