The National Monuments Service's description
On a slight N-facing slope. A NW-SE country lane (L c. 300m) is locally thought to be part of a medieval routeway from Taghmaconnell to Dysart. It has some sharp turns, and would be roughly on the line of march between Bellaneeny church (RO051-0225001-) and Dysart church (RO047-06001-), passing by the wayside crosses (RO051-023----) and (RO048-117----). However, there is insufficient reason to regard it as an antiquity.
