The National Monuments Service's description

On a rise in an undulating landscape overlooking an enclosed basin to the N. It was first identified by J. Fletcher. Circular grass-covered area (int. diam. 25m NNW-SSE; 23.9m ENE-WSW) with some bushes on the perimeter NE-SE defined by a slight scarp (H 0.2m) SW-NW and traces of inner or outer facing-stones of a wall NW-SSE. These are most evident NE-E (original Wth 1.4m), and the stone-faced entrance (Wth 2.15m) which has one large stone on its N side and three on its S side is at E. There is a grass-covered quarry (Wth of base (6-9m; D 0.6m-0.7m) inside the perimeter NE-SW, and the perimeter has been truncated by a WNW-ESE wall at SW (L 17m). There is local information that burials (RO051-100----) were discovered c. 30m to the N c. 1970.
