The National Monuments Service's description

A stoup from Bellaneeny Carmelite church (RO051-025001-) and a stone cross from the original Roman Catholic church of Bellaneeny are now kept within the grounds of the Roman Catholic church of Bellaneeny, c. 400m E of the Carmelite church. The stoup is a limestone piece (dims 0.35m x 0.36m) which would have half projected from the wall presenting five facets (H 0.19m) with the facets chamfered in below (H 0.5m). The basin (diam. 0.28m; D 0.1m) is flat-bottmed.
