The National Monuments Service's description
On a rise in an undulating landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 28m NNW-SSE) defined by an earth and stone bank (at N: Wth 3.2m; int. H 0.85m; ext. H 0.5m) with traces of internal and external facing-stones (original Wth 2.1m) which survives NNW-SE but is barely traceable elsewhere. There is no identifiable original entrance or fosse but lazy-beds are visible in the interior, and the remains of a field wall circumscribes the perimeter NE-S. Rath (RO048-078001-) is c. 70m to the N and cashel (RO106----) is c. 180m to the SW.
See the attached aerial image taken from the SW.
