The National Monuments Service's description
At the bottom of the E-facing slope of an oval hollow (dims. c. 100m N-S; c. 50m E-W; D c. 10m) called Lug na bPeist (Kelly 1907, 6). Rectangular stone (dims. 1m x 0.6m) supported by the slope at W and by a drystone wall (L 1.5m; H 1.1m) at E, and with drystone walls diverging from the altar down the slope (L 1.5m; T 0.6-0.75m; H 0.5-1m).
