The National Monuments Service's description
On a slight S-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 40m WNW-ESE; 33.6m NNE-SSW) defined by a grass-covered earth and stone bank (Wth 2.6-4m; int. H 0.2-0.3m; ext. H 0.3-0.9m) frequently reduced to a scarp (H 0.45m at WNW). There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance. A D-shaped enclosure or annexe (RO047-011002-) attached to the SE is visible as a low grass-covered platform (dims 25m E-W; at least 19m N-S) defined by a slight scarp (H 0.2m) NE-SW. The rath and annexe are bisected by a WNW-ESE field wall, but the annexe does not survive N of this feature. Rath (RO047-012001-) is c. 200m to the N and rath (RO047-040001-) is c. 140m to the SW.
