The National Monuments Service's description
On a gentle E-facing slope, c. 350m from the W shore of Carrownure Bay on Lough Ree. The W gable of a two-storey stone house with brick inclusions. There is a fireplace and brick oven in an E wall, but nothing to indicate a pre-1700 date for the structure.
