The National Monuments Service's description

Marked as a roofed structure on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated at the bottom of a NE-facing slope. This is a rectangular structure (ext. dims 11.45m ENE-WSW; 5.9m NNW-SSE; max. H 1.4m) with two cupboards in the masonry walls. It is known locally as the Friars House. The field system (RO045-109----) is immediately to the N.
