The National Monuments Service's description

Towards the bottom of a gentle N-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 41.8m E-W; 40m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.4-4.7m; int. H 0.3-0.6m; ext. H 0.95-1.5m), with a fosse (Wth of top 6.4m; Wth of base 2m; D 0.3m) SW-W. The entrance (Wth 1.5m) is at W, and there are lazy-beds and small clearance cairns in the interior.
