The National Monuments Service's description

On a rise in an undulating landscape. Oval grass-covered area (dims 38m WNW-ESE; 28.6m NNE-SSW) defined by a scarp (at NNE: H 1.25m) which is stone-faced in places but is poorly defined ENE-SSW (at SSW: H 0.8m). The entrance (Wth 7.3m) is at S. It was used as a burial ground (RO045-167002-), and there are two lines of grave-markers (L c. 10m NNE-SSW) in the interior and a single stone 16m NNW of the perimeter. A stone head which was kept at a house nearby before being donated to NMI (RO045-168----) may have come from here.
