The National Monuments Service's description

On a gentle SW-facing slope overlooking Lough Croan, a large turlough, c. 600m to SW. Described as a D-shaped area (dim. 32m N-S) defined by an earthen bank, with a short section of fosse at N (Gannon 1972). The monument was truncated at NW by a field bank associated with the Lurag (RO045-162----). Now the bank is barely visible as a grass-covered rise.
