The National Monuments Service's description
On a rise in an undulating landscape. Circular grass and scrub-covered area with some bushes (diam. 49m E-W; 46.5m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.3m; int. H 0.25m; ext. H 0.5m) at E, which is reduced to a scarp (at W: H 1.1m) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance, and the monument is surrounded by a field wall which is revetting the scarp SW-NNW. Archaeological testing (09E0285) c. 40m to the E failed to recover any related material (O'Carroll 2012).
