The National Monuments Service's description
Situated towards the bottom of a W-facing slope, overlooking a basin to the W and a slight S-N valley to the NNE. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 33.6m NW-SE; 30.7m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5-5.8m; int. H 0.8-1.6m; ext. H 1-1.6m), which is incorporated into a field bank and hedge with slight traces of an outer fosse (Wth of base 2.2m) S-W-NE. There is a modernised entrance (Wth 3.3m) at SSE.
