The National Monuments Service's description

On a low NW-SE spur with valleys to the SW and NE. Circular grass-covered area (int. diam. 4.7m ENE-WSW) defined by a broad earthen bank (Wth 5.5m-6m; int. H 0.65m-1m; ext. H 1.5-1.7m) with some scrub. There are slight traces of an outer fosse (Wth of base 1m; D 0.4m) SSW-WNW (max. ext. dims. 18.3m ENE-WSW; 15.8m NNW-SSE).
