The National Monuments Service's description

A building is marked at Clonadagah on the Strafford map of Athlone barony c. 1636 (Simington 1949, Athlone (352)), and also on composite Strafford/1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch maps in NLI. On the Strafford map Clonadagah is bounded by the River Suck at W, Clundaghnon (Cloonlaughnan) at N and Taghboy at S, but the building was not encountered.
