The National Monuments Service's description
On a gentle S-facing slope. D-shaped grass-covered and poached area (dims 33.3m NE-SW; 28.2m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.4-4.5m; int. H 0.45-0.75m; ext. H 1-1.3m) with some bushes, but the perimeter is truncated by a WNW-ESE field bank at SW. There is a record of a fosse (Gannon 1972) which is no longer visible, and there is no identifiable original entrance. Rath (RO044-072001-) is c. 180m to the WSW and rath (RO044-074----) is c. 190m to the NE.
