The National Monuments Service's description
On a level landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 71.5m E-W; 69.7m N-S) defined by a grass-covered earthen bank (Wth 3.3-6m; int. H 0.2-0.9m; ext. H 0.7-1.8m) with some bushes, and a rounded fosse (Wth of top 6.8m; Wth of base 2.4m; D 0.8m) WSW-NNW. The entrance (Wth 2m) and causeway are at W. Field walls skirt the perimeter at E and S, probably resulting in the loss of the fosse here and causing a slight straightening of the bank at S. There are lazy-beds in the interior. A D-shaped grass-covered enclosure or annexe (RO044-069002-) (dims 60m E-W; 35m N-S) defined by a low bank (Wth 6.5m; H 0.2-0.4m) survives to the W, and an old field bank (L c. 100m) extends N from the perimeter. Rath (RO044-070----) is c. 10m to the E.
