The National Monuments Service's description
Towards the bottom of the NE-facing slope of a NW-SE ridge. It is depicted as a circular embanked enclosure on the 1837 edition of the OS 6-inch map and as a circular hachured feature on the 1911 edition. It is described as a subrectangular area (dims 36m NE-SW; 32m NW-SE) defined by an earthen bank and slight traces of a fosse with an entrance (Wth 2.6m) at E (Gannon 1972). It is now visible as a circular area (diam. 43m N-S) defined by a broad rise in reclaimed pasture.
