The National Monuments Service's description
On a col with hills c. 1.7m to the NNW and c. 1.1km to the SW. Circular grass and fern-covered area (diam. 43.5m N-S; 42.7m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.5-5m; int. H 0.95-1m; ext. H 1.9-1.95) separated by a fosse (Wth of top 5.5-6m; Wth of base 1.8-2.7m; ext. D 1.2-1.3m) from an outer bank (at N: Wth 4.3m; ext. H 0.85m) ENE-S-N, which is overlain by a field wall NW-E. There is a wide entrance with a causeway, probably modern, at SW. There is a well (RO042-073003-) at the centre and numerous cairns, one of which inside the perimeter at WNW may be a lime-kiln (RO042-073002-). There is a terrace inside the perimeter at NW.
