The National Monuments Service's description

Towards the bottom of a SE-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 43.8m E-W; 41m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 5.7-6.5m; int. H 0.9-1.2m; ext. H 1.8-2.8m) which is flush with the interior SE-SW, separated by a rounded fosse (Wth of top 8-9.2m; Wth of base 2.5-3m; D 2.3-2.6m) from an outer bank (Wth of base 6-6.5m; ext. H 1.6-2m). A second outer fosse (at SSW: Wth of top 4.5m; Wth of base 1.5m; ext. D 1.1-1.4m) can only be traced S-SW as it has been back-filled elsewhere, and a third outer bank (Wth of base 4.4m; ext. H 0.6m) survives S-SW. There is an entrance through the inner (Wth 2.8m) and middle (Wth 5.3m) banks with a connecting causeway (Wth 3.2m) at ESE, and there is an enclosure or annexe (RO042-021002-) attached externally to the inner fosse at SSE. This is a grass-covered subcircular platform (dims 24.7m NE-SW; 22.4m NW-SE; H 0.1-0.6m) separated by a fosse (Wth of top 6.5-6.7m; Wth of base 1.7-3.5m) from an outer bank (Wth 3-5.4m; int. H 1.1-1.4m; ext. H 0.2-0.9m) NE-S-NW (max. ext. diam. 39.5m NE-SW).
