The National Monuments Service's description

Towards the bottom of a NE-facing slope of Moydow Hill. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 31.1m NNE-SSW; 28.7m WNW-ESE) defined by an earth and stone bank (at SSW: Wth 3.2m; int. H 0.75m; ext. H 0.4m) E-S-N and by a scarp (H 1m) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance, but a grass-covered trench (Wth c. 5m; D c. 0.5m) crosses the interior E-W. Cashel (RO042-019001-) is c. 120m to the SW.
