The National Monuments Service's description
On a gentle E-facing slope. Local traditions of a cave were confirmed in 1968 and again in 1986 when a roofless passage (Wth 0.3m; L c. 1.2m) defined by upright stones was uncovered. It may have been an air-vent, and there was an inaccessible chamber, possibly beehive, at its W end under a field bank. Further E the channel broadened out (Wth c. 0.7m; H 0.7m; total L c. 6m). It is still accessible. (Moran 1993, 88-91)
