The National Monuments Service's description

On a gentle N-facing slope and on the S side of the Athleague-Athlone road (R 362). It is in the front garden of a house. This is a latin cross of limestone (H 1.3m; Wth 0.21m; T 0.13m) with one arm missing and leaning to the NW. It has no inscription, but an inscribed limestone slab (RO041-112----) with the name 'Kelly' and the date 1643, which may be part of the missing arm, is kept at a nearby house. (Siggins 1986b, 34)
