The National Monuments Service's description
Towards the S end of the N-S karst ridge of Skrine Hill. Circular cairn (diam. 10.5m N-S; 10m E-W; H 0.4m) defined by a kerb of limestone slabs (L c. 1m; H c. 0.3m) with a possible cist (RO041-063002-) (dims 0.8m NE-SW; 0.3m NW-SE) defined by two slabs inside the kerb at S. Cairn (RO041-062001-) is c. 50m to the SW. Archaeological testing (08E0700) c. 150m to the NW failed to produce any related material (Delaney 2011b).
