The National Monuments Service's description

On a broad low hill. The church (RO041-040001-) and rectangular enclosure (RO041-041004-) are within a large enclosure (diam. 100m NE-SW; 90m NW-SE) that is defined by a complete but slight earthen bank (Wth 6-8m; int. H 0.2-0.6m; ext. H 0.3-0.5m), with a drystone wall on top of it SE-SW. The entrance (Wth 4.5m) is at ENE and the enclosure or annexe (RO041-041003-) is attached to the NE.
