The National Monuments Service's description
A fort about 1 mile (c. 1.5km) west of Shannon View school, which is probably Cloonmore school, is mentioned in the schools manuscripts (IFC Schools MSS, vo. 1270) (Pers. Com. H. Ryan). This would place it in Clooncraff townland but it was not encountered, unless it is (RO040-059----) or (RO040-060----).
