The National Monuments Service's description
On a low mound on top of a rise towards the E end of a WNW-ESE ridge. It is at the W side of a NW-SE road. The limestone shaft of a cross with chamfered angles (H 1.58m) expanded at the top which had an inscription with the names Rorie Hanly, Mary Roork, Bryan Kerrily, and Mazon with the date 1632. It was set into a rough base (Siggins 1986b, 33-4). It is now dismantled, but the base (dims 0.6m x 0.4m; H 0.25m), the shaft (dims 0.17m x 0.17m; H 0.6m), and the head (L 0.65m) survive. (Ryan 1997, 232)
