The National Monuments Service's description
Marked as a D-shaped embanked area (dims. c. 35m E-W; c. 35m N-S) with a straight field bank at E on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and as a fragment of a bank (C c. 25m W-NE) on the 1914 ed. Situated on a gentle S-facing slope, and described as a length of an earth and stone bank and fosse (Gannon 1972). It is not visible at ground level in pasture. Rath (RO040-009----) is c. 65m to the E.
