The National Monuments Service's description
The entrance (Wth 1.3m; H 0.3m) to an inaccessible S-N passage is inside the perimeter of rath (RO039-006001-) at SW. From the present entrance a hollow (dims 8.3m NW-SE; 5.3m NE-SW; D 0.3-0.7m), probably a destroyed passage, runs off to the SE. The entrance to souterrain (RO039-006002-) is c. 14m to the N and it is unlikely that the two souterrains are connected and part of a single souterrain.
