The National Monuments Service's description
On a gentle S-facing slope of a NW-SE ridge. Described as a subcircular area (dims 32m E-W; 28.5m N-S) defined by an earthen bank and a slight outer fosse (Gannon 1972). It is now an arc (C 19.5m) of an earthen bank (Wth 3.6m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.9m) and a fosse (Wth of base 2m; D 0.1m) SW-NW. Raths (RO038-022----) and (RO038-024----) are c. 130m to the NNW and c. 100m to the E respectively.
