The National Monuments Service's description

Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 40-45m) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and as a fragment of a bank (diam. c. 25m) NE-E-SW on the 1914 ed. Situated towards the bottom of a gentle E-facing slope. Described as a circular area (diam. c. 25m) defined by an earthen bank and a water-filled fosse which only survived E-S (Gannon 1972). It is not visible now in reclaimed pasture. Rath (RO036-021----) is c. 180m to the W.
