The National Monuments Service's description
On a gentle N-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 31m N-S) defined by an earth and stone bank (at W: Wth 4.9-5.3m; int. H 0.4-0.8m; ext. H 1.8m), which is overgrown NW-NE and E-SE, separated by a rounded fosse (Wth of top 6.1-6.6m; Wth of base 1.2-1.7m; D 1.5m at W) from an outer bank (Wth 2-3.3m; H 0.4m) which survives SSW-N-SE, but is overgrown NW-NE and is overlain by a drystone wall SW-N. The inner bank is quarried away N-NE and SSE-SSW. There is no identifiable original entrance. Rath (RO035-010001-) is c. 100m to the NNW and rath (RO035-012----) is c. 60m to the SSE.
