Archaeological testing (09E0525) of an extensive area in the vicinity of moated site (RO034-070----) and barrow (RO034-071----) recovered evidence of a hearth in a baked clay oval area (dims 1.6m E-W; 0.95m N-S) with charcoal and a grey core (dims 0.35m x 0.23m). (Morahan 2009, 6; 2012)
