The National Monuments Service's description

At the summit of a WNW-ESE ridge. Described as a rectangular mound (dims of top c. 4.2m x 4.2m; dims of base c. 6.5m x c. 6.5m; H c. 0.9m) within a rectangular enclosure (dims c. 16m x 16m) defined by fosse (Wth c. 1m; D c. 0.0.7m) and an outer earthen bank (Wth c. 1.8m) which is reputed to have had a standing stone (RO034-018002-) on the central mound (Knox 1911, 339-340).
This is a circular grass-covered and flat-topped mound (diam. of top 4.8m NW-SE; diam. of base 7.1m NW-SE; H 0.8-0.9m) on top of a broader circular platform (diam. of top 14.8m NW-SE; diam. of base 19m NW-SE; H 0.7-0.85m). It is enclosed in a rectangular, scrub-covered area (dims c. 25m NW-SE; c. 25m NE-SW) defined by a flat-topped earthen field bank (Wth of top 1.4m; int. H 0.25m; ext. H 0.6m). There is no evidence of a standing stone.
