The National Monuments Service's description

At the bottom of a SW-facing slope, at the edge of the flood-plain of the NW-SE River Suck, which is c. 120m to the SW, and on the NE side of a NW-SE mill-stream. Traditionally built in the 17th century with millstones taken from a mill in Co. Carlow by the Tracy family who operated it into the 19th century. This is an ivy-covered, rectangular structure (int. dims 6.5m NE-SW; 5.6m NW-SE) of two storeys, but with no features other than a doorway on the SE wall onto a roadway which crosses the mill-stream by a two arched bridge, which post-dates the mill.
