The National Monuments Service's description
Marked only on the 1928 ed. of the OS 6-inch map as a circular feature, and situated on a gentle S-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 60m N-S; 52m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1.5m) NW-ESE and by a scarp (H 0.6m at W to 2.1m at S) over a road ESE-S and lower ground S-W. A NNW-SSE field bank bisects the interior and there is a modern entrance at SE. Archaeological testing (03E0521) immediately to the NE during 2003 failed to produce any related material (Read 2006p).
