The National Monuments Service's description
On a high, level landscape. Described as having a wide fosse with an entrance (Wth 3m) at E (Gannon 1972). This is a subcircular raised, grass and scrub-covered area (dims 38.3m N-S; 35m E-W) defined by an overgrown scarp (H 1.2-1.6m), with slight traces of a bank (Wth 1m; int. H 0.1m) at E and an outer drain (Wth 1m; D 0.2m) at S. The original entrance is not recognized.
