The National Monuments Service's description
Situated at the crest of the N-facing slope of broad plateau and just E of the present Roman Catholic church. The older Roman Catholic church of Garranlahan (RO032-015001-) was within a sub-triangular graveyard (RO032-015002-). While a cairn was evident in the modern graveyard (Gannon 1972), it was probably cairn material from the chapel and has since been removed.
