The National Monuments Service's description

At the top of a S-facing slope overlooking bell barrow (RO032-009----). Described in 1980 as an oval area (dims 50m NE-SW; 46.5m NW-SE) defined by the remains of a slight earthen bank ESE-SW and NW-NE on top of a scarp, with traces of a narrow fosse at its base NW-NNW (SMR file). It is not visible now at ground level in reclaimed pasture. Knox (1911, 309) mentions a second rath (RO032-008002-) to the SE, of which there is no evidence, and the location of which is uncertain. Barrow (RO032-009001-) is c. 80m to the SW.
