On a NW-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 31.4m NW-SE; 31m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3-4.6m; int. H 0.2-0.3m; ext. H 0.4-0.9m) NE-SE which is reduced to a scarp (H 0.2-0.4m) elsewhere, and a complete flat-bottomed fosse (Wth of top 4.5-5m; Wth of base 2.5-3.3m; D 0.1m at SE to 0.9m at NE). There is an outer bank (Wth 3.5-4.5m; ext. H 0.6-1m) NE-ESE and WSW-NNE (max. surviving diam. 46.6m NE-SE; 44.7m NW-SE), but there is no evidence of an original entrance.
