The National Monuments Service's description

At the crest of a severe S-facing slope overlooking a valley to the E and S, and with higher ground to the NW. The W angle of the graveyard (RO032-002002-) of Kiltullagh church overlies a raised platform partly outside the graveyard, which on excavation (00E0322) revealed the walls (T 1.2m; H 1-1.5m) of a building (ext. dims 18m E-W; 7.5m N-S) which may have been an earlier church.
