The National Monuments Service's description
On a low-lying, level landscape c. 1.5 km NW from the River Shannon. Subcircularl grass-covered area (dims 48m N-S; 42m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (at W: Wth 3.2m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 1.6m) incorporated into a field bank and hedge with an outer drain (Wth of base 1m; D 0.4m) SW-N, but the bank is reduced to a low scarp (at E: H 0.3m) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse or identifiable original entrance.
