The National Monuments Service's description

On a gentle S-facing slope. Circular grass and reed-covered area (diam. 35.6m N-S; 33m E-W) defined by an overgrown flat-topped earthen bank (Wth of base 3.6-4.9m; Wth of top 1.9-2.8m; int. H 0.3-0.6m; ext. H 0.9-1.5m) separated by a reed-filled fosse (Wth of top 5.3-6.5m; Wth of base 3.2-4.2m; D 0.6-1.2m) from an overgrown outer bank (Wth 1.9-4m; H 0.2-1m), which is incorporated into a field bank NW-NNE. There is no identifiable original entrance. A lime-kiln had been built on the perimeter at N, and the monument remains unplanted in a deciduous wood, although it is becoming increasingly scrub-covered. Rath (RO029-094----) is c. 130m to the S.
